I have written a few essays that explain the costs, the havoc and the evil that addiction causes. Addiction is a tool of the ultimate evil however this evil can be opposed by knowledge and addiction can defeated by honesty, openmindedness and willingness. If all the people who are in jail because of the compulsion to use drugs could be rehabilitated, retrained and released we could save this nation (and the world) trillions of dollars, eliminate the national debt. reverse the recession, glorify God and make the world a safer place to live. Did you know that the money spent because of drug problems since 1992 is several trillion dollars? It is possible to reclaim a large portion of that wealth. Many third world nations entire economies depend in a major way on America's drug problems. They are getting rich by making us sick. Sick unto death!
